Dave Marley -
Marley in the Morning
(Breakfast Show)

"Marley in the Morning" is a free to air Syndicated Breakfast Show.

Your station's breakfast show should be "Fun" "Exciting" "Upbeat" and "Happy".. It really is the most important show playing on your station. Your listeners should be happily singing along to their radio every morning while tuned into your stations breakfast show.. If your station sounds happy, chances are your listeners will happily tune in again.

That's where I would love the opportunity to help make that happen.. I like to engage the listeners and keep them interested.. I, as much as you do, want every listener tuned back in tomorrow for more, and I want them to become regulars of the show, and in turn, your station.. Not only that, I want them telling their family, friends, colleagues at work etc where they too can find the station that plays the breakfast show that keeps them wanting more day after day..

TAKE A LISTEN TO THE DEMO'S BELOW (2x17min from 2 shows)

"Marley in the Morning", predominantly plays music to suit an audience aged from around their 30s upwards.. The show first began in March 2023 and has been gradually gaining positive recognition ever since.

So, whats on offer? Every day the breakfast show will include classics from the 60s, 70s, 80s 90s and the 10s. Your listeners will hear anything from "The Beatles to Oasis".. from "The Rolling Stones to Happy Mondays".. from "Elvis Presley to George Michael".. How about some "Coldplay and Travis", right alongside "The Kinks and David Bowie". "Marley in the Morning" isn't necessarily an oldies breakfast show (although the tracks I play predominantly are), but it most definitely "IS" all about "feeling good".. Trust me when I say, if it feels good.. you will hear it on "Marley in the Morning"

My breakfast show is aired every weekday morning, Monday to Friday from 7am to 10am (for 3hrs).. Your station has the option to either relay my live VT feed each morning from 7am till 10am, or if preferred, you can be given access to the weekly released downloadable version of the show (available every Saturday morning, covering the following week). This gives your station programmer the opportunity to load and schedule the whole coming week's shows in advance each weekend, ready for 7am Monday morning. Perhaps your automated import software (auto ftp manager) can be configured to automatically import the shows directly from my Dropbox each week, or even each morning? If you decide to take the download version of the show, you will be given access to every mornings show, presented as 6x 27 minute MP3 (320k) files for each show, allowing you to fit the breakfast show segments around your own station idents, ads and promos and perhaps even your news bulletins at the top of each hour. If however you would prefer to relay my live VT feed, this will be 3 hours straight of ad/promo free feel good music, ready to relay directly to your own stream between 7am and 10am Monday to Friday. I am happy to supply you with the details needed to do this. (IP relay address etc).

"Hour 1" Every show includes great features such as "The feel good hour" the first hour packed with feel good classics, beginning with a few "Golden Oldies" from the 60s to kick off the show, a few celeb birthday shouts, some facts in music history today, leading into some 70s, and then "The Workout Track" where we encourage the listeners to workout along with us in the breakfast studio, just for a few minutes each morning, playing something up tempo with a great beat to get your listeners' blood pumping as they warm up, work out and get ready for the day ahead. Enough yawning, let's wakeup and go for it..

Into "Hour 2" we get going with "80s at 8" at 8am each morning. We dig though 30 mins of 1980s classics and play some of the greatest 80s anthems of all time, with more celeb birthday shouts, and facts in music history today. Followed by our "Midway Extended Play" track. Digging into my own personal collection of 12inch singles and playing a great "Extended Play, Every Day" followed by more 70s, 90s and 00s.

"Hour 3" brings us "The 5 at 9". 5 tracks in a row at 9am, your listeners have to guess the years to win their very own "Virtual Gold Star" if and only if they get enough correct years on the day. Of course, the virtual gold star is only a figment of the listeners' imagination, but none the less, a much sought after prize which they are encouraged to wear with pride all day. (hehe) . Leading to our daily "Featured Classic Album Track". Every week we hand select a great album from the past, playing a track a day Monday through to Friday, along lots of info about the chosen album, and perhaps introducing listeners to a "Hidden Album Gem" they possibly have never heard before with even more celeb birthday shouts, and more facts in music history today. Leading to our final feature of the show each morning "Today's Theme Tune Finish".. We go back in time and re-discover an old tv show that may have once been a favorite watch, a little info about the show to jog sometimes fading memories and finish with its theme tune. A very retro and much loved feature of the breakfast show.

"Marley in the Morning" is basically everything you need for a great breakfast show..

The shows are available either via dropbox presented as 6 x 27min segments (each day) as 320k MP3 files. Made easy to sit around your morning news, local advertising and station imaging. The show download files are made available every Saturday morning, covering the whole of the coming week in advance, so your station programmer has plenty of time to schedule the shows playout ready for Monday morning. The file names are the same each week for those that use auto file import software making life simple to collect directly from dropbox. A dropbox invitation will be emailed to you once you have signed up for the show.

The breakfast show is also available as a "live VT" relay so you can simply relay the breakfast show stream to your own station stream between 7am and 10am each weekday morning. The relay IP number will be made available to you once you have signed up for the show.

I supply a biography, lots of "Marley in the Morning" art work for your website, generic promo and video for your social media, and I invite you and your listeners to follow "Marley in the Morning" on Facebook for up to date show news and current feature.

Want the show on your station?

Guess what.. It's free to air!

Yes, I offer the generic version of the show "for free".. Though you are encouraged to make a small monthly donation HERE. Let's face it, your breakfast show should lead the way to the rest of your day. It's the most important show on your station, the one most people like to tune in to. If you make listeners feel good each morning, 'THEY WILL ALWAYS BE BACK FOR MORE'. My very small voluntary sponsorship fee costs less than a regular coffee at Starbucks each week. There is no obligation to pay out any fees for the show, but I am positive you will agree that what's on offer here is more than worthy of a mere coffee each week right? A decent breakfast show, from a fella that loves entertaining with his music..

If you would prefer however to step things up even further to make your station stand out from the rest, why not consider my "tailor-made" option of the show. I have different packages to offer, covering anything from mentioning your station name and tagline throughout the show, to dropping in some of your own station imaging for that real personal touch, which could include jingles, kickers, ramps etc. "Tailor-made" packages start from as little as £10 per week. For more details, kindly contact me by filling in the form below and ask about the different "tailor-made" options and pricing. These offers will include free personalised show promos, plus any dry liners you might need for events or functions your station might be holding.

I am more than delighted with the response the show has had so far. It's all been somewhat overwhelming with stations far and wide signing up for the breakfast show. If you too want your station to be a part of it all, simply fill out the application below and we'll soon have your station set up, ready to air the show each weekday morning.. I very much look forward to hearing from you.. I will usually reply to any application or query within 24 hours (if not sooner)..

"I hope to be playing out on your station soon"..
