"The Classic Chart Rundown", predominantly plays music to suit an audience aged from around their 30s upwards.. The show first began in 2019 and has been gaining positive recognition ever since. Its now regarded by many at the go-to chart countdown show to quench the thirst for retro.

So, whats on offer? There are already well over 300 shows in the classic chart rundown archive. All shows are recorded to 59 minuets long and sent out as 1 single MP3 file.  Completely generic, there is no mention of time, day or date so the shows will slot in to anywhere on your schedule.

Each show picks a different year and we count down the Top 20 as it is listed on the UK's Official Singles Chart, to fall in line with the current date.
I will countdown from No: 20 to No: 1 on every show. Between No: 20 to No: 11, I will play what I consider to be the best pick from the chart, however, No: 10 to No: 1 are "ALWAYS" played in every show. To include ALL the classics, as well as ALL the cringe worthy. They are ALL there. As all good chart shows do, I include a chart countdown recap before I play that days No: 1 single. Track length always plays a key factor in each show. For example, late 50s to early 60s charts, the tracks from this golden era were much shorter, so you will often find the complete Top 20 played in full, play a few bonus singles of track that were just outside the Top 20 to complete the full 59min, however, as the years roll forward to more modern times, the 80s and 90s, you will perhaps only hear 4 or 5 tracks from No: 20 to No: 11, but then as mentioned, you will always hear the complete Top !o countdown.

28 new shows are release monthly at around the 28th day of each month, to cover the following month in advance. The monthly downloads will include a mixture of (a few 50s) but predominantly 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. You can pick as many or as few shows as your station requires. Some stations like to run the chart show Monday to Friday (many choosing 5pm drive time, as the show is a great listen on the journey home from work). There are more than enough shows released each month to run Monday to Friday without a repeat. However, some stations choose to use only 1 or 2 chart shows over the weekend, picking the years/decades that suite their listeners the best.  That choice belongs your station programmer.

The files are MP3 format (192kps 44100hz). Downloads will be received via Dropbox.

"The Classic Chart Rundown" is basically everything you need for a Retro Chart Countdown show..
As mentioned above, the shows are available via dropbox presented as 1 x 59min file (for each day) as 192k MP3 files. 59min leaving 1 spare minute of the hour for station imaging. The show download files are made available at around the 28th of each month, covering the whole of the coming month in advance, so your station programmer has plenty of time to schedule the shows playout for the coming 4 weeks ahead. Each file name is labeled with the show name, year and month. A dropbox invitation will be emailed to you once you have signed up for the show.

I supply a biography, lots of "Classic Chart Rundown" art work for your website, generic promo your social media, and I invite you and your listeners to follow "Classic Chart Rundown" on Facebook for up to date show news and year feature.
